Preacher Frank goes by this title because his mother called him her “preacher son.” This she said because he was always preaching to her and others after he received Jesus as his Savior. However, before his conversion he was always getting himself into trouble, even while being in his youth. For not only did he spend time in a juvenile jail, but he later spent time in prison as an adult as well. However, one day he came to the end of himself. This occurred when he mentioned to one of his friends that he doesn’t believe in Jesus. After this, he felt himself being possessed by evil spirits which brought him fear. Then one night while fearing that he was going to snap and go crazy, the Lord Jesus revealed himself to him. This Jesus did, not in a visual form, but in a Spiritual form by making his present known. This caused him to call out the name JESUS which afterwards brought him great joy and changed his life forever.
Now, because of his past offenses while living a life of sin, he feels he’s not qualified to be a leader or overseer in the fellowship of the Saints according to 1 Timothy 3:7. Thus, he feels the call to be a preacher, reminding not only fellow Christians on what the word of God says, but to present Christ to this lost world in hopes that they would be saved. Therefore, he was called upon by a church leader to preach (not lead) a few times in a small church fellowship in a retirement community. Also, he served as a deacon in a house church for several years which met in his home in California. And this he hopes to do in his new location in Arizona, or wherever else the Lord brings him too. Preacher Frank has been with the same woman he married back in 1975 and never had another.
So, all I want to do is preach the truth and see fulfilled the words of our Savior Jesus who said to his disciples: “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:9-10) Amen.
God bless you as you seek to do His Will. Amen,
